She was a Principal in Lockwood Greene's Global Business
Location and Economic Development Consulting Group, and lead
the practice in Chicago specializing in community economic
development consulting and corporate facility site selection.  Site
selection projects have included facilities for American Express,
Tate & Lyle, Northeast Oklahoma Automotive Coalition, Organics
LaGrange and Taco Bell among others.  

Following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, she was an invited
participant in the Gulf Coast Reinvestment Forum sponsored by
the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the International Economic
Development Council, and the Governors Round Table on Gulf
Coast Reconstruction.  She served as economic development
consultant to the Port of Lake Charles, Louisiana, City of New
Orleans, and the Port of South Louisiana.

Joan has published numerous articles on economic development,
site selection and industrial site certification programs, and retail
redevelopment projects.  She is a recognized speaker at
conferences and seminars.  Recent topics include: “Shovel Ready
Sites”, “Changing Demographics and the Aging Workforce”,
"Business Retention and Expansion", “Marketing Consulting” and
“Community Competitiveness.”

HERRON CONSULTING provides corporate site selection, business relocation strategies, location incentives negotiation and economic
development consulting services to major companies and community organizations. We are respected for our expertise in devising
innovative strategies that guide corporate location decisions, and assisting companies and communities with sustainable economic
development strategies.  Much of our corporate work involves developing location strategies, and conducting site selection and
incentives negotiation for manufacturing and technology companies. We offer a wide range of services relating to corporate site
selection and business relocation feasibility assessments in support of new investment, acquisitions, and relocation decisions.

We work with community based organizations on pressing issues and provide services such as: grants
consulting, community development and redevelopment planning; targeting; marketing and attraction;

Mr. Price's background includes major automotive assembly plants,
general manufacturing, headquarters, back office and distribution
facilities site selection programs.  Clients have included AEP,
AREVA, Boeing, BMW, Daimler, Ciba, AIG, ConAgra, Williams
International, Colgate and Tractor Supply among others.  He has
also worked extensively with utility companies and IPPs on energy
facility siting and permitting.  He is well-versed in community
economic impact assessments, work force and demographic
analyses, business climate assessments, public participation and
community site certifications.  He has delivered more than two
dozen training seminars and workshops.  

Bob began his consulting career with United Engineers and
Constructors/ Raytheon where he conducted site selection and
socioeconomic assessments for nuclear energy facilities and major
coal-fired power plants.  He was a Director at the Fantus Company
in New Jersey, where he specialized in site selection for corporate
headquarters facilities, alternative energy projects and major
manufacturing programs.  He served as Principal with Lockwood
Greene’s Global Business Location and Economic Development
Consulting Group in New York/New Jersey and Atlanta, specializing
in site selection and incentives negotiation for major manufacturing
and technology clients.
