Joan Herron is the President of HERRON CONSULTING, with
extensive experience consulting with private, public and not-for-
profit clients throughout the United States and abroad.  She has
successfully managed
hundreds of studies for states and
communities, land owners, developers, port authorities,
economic development organizations, companies, and
community groups.

Ms. Herron formerly directed consulting projects at Urban
Investment and Development Co. in Chicago, Trkla Pettigrew
Allen & Payne/URS and at the Fantus Company.  She was a
Principal in Lockwood Greene's Global Business Location and
Economic Development Consulting Group, and lead the practice
in Chicago specializing in community economic development
consulting and corporate facility site selection.  Site selection
projects have included facilities for American Express, Tate &
Lyle, Northeast Oklahoma Automotive Coalition, Organics
LaGrange and Taco Bell among others.  

Following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, she was an invited
participant in the Gulf Coast Reinvestment Forum sponsored by
the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the International Economic
Development Council, and the Governors Round Table on Gulf
Coast Reconstruction.  She has served as economic
development consultant to the Port of Lake Charles, Louisiana,
City of New Orleans, and the Port of South Louisiana.
Currently she is advising several federal government agencies,
consulting on their grant review programs and chairing grant
review panels.

Joan has published numerous articles on economic
development, site selection and industrial site certification
programs, and retail redevelopment projects.  She is a
recognized speaker at conferences and seminars.  Recent
topics include: “Shovel Ready Sites”, “Changing Demographics
and the Aging Workforce”, "Business Retention and Expansion",
“Marketing Consulting” and “Community Competitiveness.”

Robert Price has extensive experience advising corporate
clients on location and site selection issues that impact their
organizational performance and profitability. He has personally
worked on
more than 250 site selection projects, and
negotiated tax and non-tax incentives for clients in
excess of $2 billion
.  On a typical site selection program he
manages the input of a cross-functional client team, including
design, HR,  construction, technology, logistics, legal,
operations, taxation, real estate and other professionals.  

Mr. Price's background as a location consultant includes
biotechnology, food processing, aerospace, automotive, general
manufacturing, headquarters / back office, and distribution
facilities site selection programs.  Clients have included AEP,
Akzo, AREVA, Boeing, BMW, CARE, Daimler, Ciba, AIG,
ConAgra, Colgate, Williams International, Prudential, and
Tractor Supply among others.  He has also worked extensively
with utility companies and IPPs on siting and permitting of fossil,
nuclear and renewable energy facilities.  He is well-versed in
community economic impact assessments, work force and
demographic analyses, organizational analysis, business climate
assessments, public participation, and community shovel-ready
site certifications.  He has delivered more than two dozen
training seminars and workshops for community economic
development practitioners.  

Bob began his consulting career with United Engineers and
Constructors/ Raytheon where he conducted site selection and
socioeconomic assessments for fossil and nuclear energy
facilities.  He was a Director at the Fantus Company in New
Jersey, where he specialized in site selection for corporate
headquarters facilities, alternative energy projects and major
manufacturing programs.  He served as Principal with Lockwood
Greene’s Global Business Location and Economic Development
Consulting Group in New York/New Jersey and Atlanta,
specializing in site selection and incentives negotiation for major
manufacturing and technology clients.
